Save Money - We Like This 'Value' Comprehensive Car Insurance Offer From Tesco

July 2006

Just because the financial services industry tends to specialise in lousy products for the consumer that doesn't mean that they're aren't some excellent deals or offers available. There are, you just have to keep abreast of what's going on.

Case in point is this excellent fully comprehensive insurance deal offered by Tesco called Value Car Insurance.

Information On The Deal

  • In summary, it offers basic comprehensive insurance on your car for a low premium
  • It does this by eliminating some of the fluff such as variable cover and European breakdown insurance
  • The deal is normally far better value than Third Party insurance, for example -
  • A typical Third Party premium for a For Fiesta owner is around £150
  • But Tesco Value Cover can offer comprehensive for around £180, Standard comprehensive cover from Tesco would cost around £230
  • The Value Cover does come with some restrictions, no under 21s, no protected no-claims bonus and repairs must be carried out only by approved mechanics

Summary

We like this Value Cover deal from Tesco and think that it's perfect for those already insuring cars at the Third Party level. But for those with more expensive motors then perhaps getting standard comprehensive cover might be more applicable.

Whatever the case at least check out what Tesco can offer you.
