This is an interesting article written by somebody called the 'Optimist'. He writes occasionally on the financial website www.financialsense.com and his MO is to provoke financial thought and ideas.

As he mentions his main interests are in the metals market, but in this article he looks at both the stock and housing markets. The article is on the US markets but as we're so intertwined with that economy in the UK, what goes on there is highly significant.
