Dump Internet Explorer & Go With The Superb Mozilla Browser

August 2005

As a rule of thumb with computers if you ever get the chance to dump a Microsoft product and go with another piece of software, take it with both arms. Microsoft software is basically awful and they're only big and successful because they have a monopoly. Microsoft are also never proactive with what they produce and you can see this with the death of great products they release versus what say Google offers.

The Mozilla Firefox Web Browser

Case in point with this argument is the excellent Mozilla internet browser called Firefox which of course is 100% free. Web browsing software is what's used to view internet sites and chances are that you're using Microsoft's Internet Explorer (IE). Dump it in favour of the Mozilla software if only for one reason, tabbed browsing.

Tabbed browsing lets you look and open many different websites or web pages all at the same time rather than in separate windows like Microsoft's IE does. This saves a tremendous amount of time and effort and will REALLY make a difference in the way you surf. Take a look at the picture below to give a visual idea of what tabbed browsing is.

  • Look at the red circle, these are all tabbed web pages
  • This means to flick from one site to the next all you have to do is click the tab
  • It's that easy and that convenient
  • To open a new link in a tab all you have to do is right-click over the link and press 'open in new tab'

Everything else works exactly the same as Microsoft's browser so there's nothing really to learn. We advise you strongly that you dump IE and get Mozilla, you WON'T regret it, and remember InvestorProfit specialises in recommending the best FREE software!
